CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY
Neuropsychology is the scientific discipline that studies the cognitive deficits and emotional-motivational caused by injury or brain dysfunction.
In cases of brain injury (traumatic brain injury, stroke), tumors and other brain diseases (meningitis and encephalopathy), multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias may present symptoms (eg difficulty remembering events, names, meetings, people, paths and roads, disorientation and attention difficulties, personality changes, difficulty in speaking, writing and understanding what others say or perform movements) that require a specific assessment.
At my studio you can make a proper evaluation through interviews and tests to define a neuropsychological diagnosis in order to plan specific rehabilitative interventions for the patient and thus reduce the difficulties in the life of every day and improve its quality.
